MEETING OF COMMITTEE. Tho meeting of tho committee of tho Canterbury Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was held last night. Present—Messrs A. It. Morten .(chairman), J. Spiller, and Mrs Biltclifi. Mr J. O. Jameson attended towards tha end of the meeting. Apologies for absence were received from Mesara H. F. Herbert, A. W. MoGillivray, and G. C. Mcl Cellar.
