OPAWA CLUB. The third annual Open Progressive Bink Tournament look placo on Saturday. The weather -was all that could bo desired, the «rccn in tirs (.-class order, and the play excellent. At 1.-lo eighteen rinks, Teprer sentins: Cbviotchurch, Bcckcnliam, Canter burv, Edgt-v/are, St. Albans. Heathcote, *p>aenhara, Wood's Mill, and Opa,wa Cluoa gathered, and alter the president had read tho conditions, started play. There were live frames of 40 minutes each, with a ten m'nutea interval, and play wa3 keen till the end. The winners of the trophies (rose bou-w were a rink representing Canterbury Club, skipped by It. Howarth, who had with him JleNamara, Hagger, and \n<*us <ind who won five games. All the -nmfiVerc keenly contested, the competitors being loud in praise of the green.
