Master Jack Davis, who is assisting Mr MacLurcan in his wireless experiments during the Tahiti's present trip, owns a. fine amateur transmitting ;md receiving station (2DS) in feydne\. He distinguished hiniselt' last April -bv winning the transmitting and receiving tests between Australia and New Zealand. He employs only 10 watts power at his station. Ho i s still attending the Sydney Grammar School. Several prominent wireless men me. the Sydney experimenters yesterday, including Mr F. D. BeH, of" Shag Valley, New Zealand s foremost radio amateur, who came to Wellington specially for that purpose.
