S. GEORGE'S HOSPITAL.
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. A meeting of the executive of S. George's Hospita.l waa held at Church. House yesterday afternoon. There were present—Captain Tahu Rhodes (in the chair), Messrs J. D. Hall, J. Fleming, E. Haines, T. Chapman, E. Edridge, W. E. D. Bishop, Dr. Crawshaw and Canon Wilford.
Mr S. Gould was elected a new member of the executive.
It waa arranged to hold the annual meeting of the Association on the first Wednesday in Mcy. Mr A. K. Firth, a member of tho executive, waa granted six months' leave of absence.
The report of the Organising Committee showed the assets of the Association to be £8655. A 5s a day campaign had just been started, with very great success. The executive confirmed the appointment of Mr Collins as honorary secretary of this fund. The committee also reported that arrangements were well in hand for a day's street collection, which it was hoped to hold in April. Leave waa given Mrs Hazlett to nam® a Fendalton bed, to Miss Elliott to name a Sunday echool scholars' bed, to Sister Jones to name a nurses' bed, and to Miss Hope to name a teachers' bed. Mr J. D. lft.ll promised to Bee about a Hororata bed, and the hop© waa expressed that many districts would, by small euo6cription, raise £IOO, and so earn the righi to name other beds.
Miss Millicent Jennings wrote offering to give a number of performances of a miracle play during the Bix weeks before Christmas, in aid of the building fund. The secretary was asked to convey to Miss Jennings the gratitude of the meeting, and thankiuUj to accept her
