There is considerable interest in the proposal by a New Zealander, Mr H. A. J. Wilson, who arrived by the Niagara, to fly from Sydney to Auckland in company with Lieutenant P. S. Briggs, now a pilot in the South Australian aerial mail service.

If negotiations to secure a Buitable machine and other arrangements are successful, the proposal is to leave Sydney two days after the' departure of the British Squadron for New Zealand, so that in the event of a mishap warships will be handy to assist. Many airmen here consider the flight to be feasible without much attendant danger. ' Mr Wilson has proceeded to Adelaide where he hopes to secure the machine required for the flight.
