RAINFALL.
The weather all through the month of February was warm. The mean barometer reading for the month was 29.932, the maximum being reached on February 4th when" 'M.itf was registered. The minimum was recorded on the twenty-first, when the reading was 29.239. The mean maximum. temperature in the shade was 72.4 and the mean minimum 53.7. The approximate mean temperature for the month was 63.0, the mean daily range of temperature being 18.6. The extreme maximum reading was on the twentysecond, when 89.7 was registered The extreme minimum reading wag made on the twenty-fifth, 42. t being recorded The mean temperature in the sun was 129. The extreme maximum reading was made on the twenty-second when 149 was recorded. The mean temped ture on the grass for the month was 47.6, the lowest reading being ma(!fln _ the twenty-fifth, when 36.2 %TnJ£ tered. The mean amount of c l oud was 6.1. The amount of "rain was 444 about one-quarter of the average ' Ta i n i fall.
