Forecast. Present indications are for easterly winds, 6trong to gale, northward of !Kawhia and East Cape, and moderate to strong northeast to south-east winds prevailing, and freshening elsewhere; the weather warm and humid, with cloudiness increasing generally, and fain following in many parts of the country, the barometer falling in the north and being unsteady in the south.
