AUCKLAND, March 3,

Eric Adams, aged thirteen, son of Charles Adams, of Rernuera, was drowned on the West Coast on Sunday. He was handling a fishing net with Carlin Tucker, when heavy waves swept both out of thoir depth. Adams, though able to swim, failed to reach the shore. He was on the office staff of Alfred Buckland and Son, Ltd., of Auckland. NEW PLYMOUTH, March 3.

A burning branch fell from a tree and killed two boys who were cycling along a ror.d. The boys were Ernest Srrvth, aged eight, and Ronald Deacon aged 11. As they passed under the tree the branch fell* on them, killing them both.
