• , EXCHANGE. . ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Christchureh Stock Exchange was hcid yesterday, the chairman, Mr F. E. Graham, presiding: There was a good attendance, of members. In moving tho adoption of the accounts, the chaiTman briefly referred to tho bueineos done during tho past year, the outstanding feature of which was tho flotation of How Zealand Breweries, Ltd., with a share capital of £500,000 and debenture issue of £1,000.000. He then referred to tho business prospectsfor the ensuing yeaT, and expressed gratification at the increased prices obtaining for wool, which would'-help to cover the loss on grain to- the farmers, and should bo reflected in an improvement in the financial position of the country this year. In con- : elusion, Mr Graham expressed regret at the resignation of one of tho original members of tho ExchMnge. Mr R. Hill Fisher, which left only two of the original members still on the Exchange.
