THE REFRESHER COURSE.
■-<> FLYING,AT SOCKBURN. The refresher course for service pilots will be commenced at the Wigram aerodrome, Sockburn, this morning. ■ The course will not be really into full swing until to-morrow, when the twelve officers comprising the first detachment will all be on the station. Much will depend on weather conditions, for if yesterday's nor'-west weather holds, the air will not be suitable for elementary work. Nor'-westers leave tfie atmosphere very ''bumpy," not at all pleasant for quiet Hying. However, there is much to do on the ground, and tho pilots will find their time fully occupied. it is understood that the G.O.C. theNew Zealand Military Forces, MajorGeneral Sir E. W. Chaytor, will visit tho aerodrome on Saturday.
