As the outcome of a meeting on Menday, a telegram was sent to Mr Masse}'' as follows: —"Intense feeling in, Dunedin against even the suggestion of the removal of the Dental School. Be glad of your assurance that no such transfer will be made, or, in the alternative, that the Government will not commit itself to the proposal until we have an opportunity of putting our -case before you personally. If unable to do this, it will bo impossible to prevent public meetings and a strong agitation."

Mr Massey replied:—"No action will ho taken until the Duhedin people interested have an opportunity of seeing nte personally." It la expected Mr Massey will be here in a fortnight.
