(pp.nss association telegbah.) D-UKIODTX, January 29. At the inquest on the death of .Constable. A. G. Smart, Sergeant Dunlop advanced, the theory that deceased had arrived too early at the point on the wharf where lie ■ was due to meet witness. Smart had dropped asleep, and had fallen into the water. Deceased generally took insufficient rest, and was inclined, to .get .steepy. . verdict was returned that (Smart was accidentally drowned. -■ •
