Eeccnt patents include an Australian's invention for the utilisation of tho rolling of ships for motive power. The result is achieved by an ingenious distribution of weights which swing from side to side with the roll of the ship. These aid connected with the propellers. It is claimed that the device will cheapen ships' motive power.
