SERIOUS DROUGHT IN N.S.W. (BT CA3I4S—PKBSS ASSOCIATION COPTaiGHT.) SYDNEY, December 5. The weather is very hot and rain is greatly wanted. The drought conditions in some of the country districts are becoming serious. North Coast areas are suffering from the long dry spell. The Minister''of Agriculture has promised consideration of a request by a deputation to advance £500,000 to assist necessitous farmers there.
