The Town Clerk of Londonderry presented Mr Massey, in London, with a silver model of the famous, cannon "Soaring Meg," used in the siege of Londonderry. The model is mounted on a 3tand made of oak from Londonderry's thou-sand-year-old town halL

The presentation commemorates Mr Massey's election to the Freedom of Londonderry in 1916. Lord French of Ypres, and the Duke of Abercorn are the holders of similar models, the only others made.
