The monthly meeting of the committee of the City and Suburban Cricket Association was held last evening. Present —• Messrs G. Duggiui (chairman), A. Wilson, J. Jones, A. Foote, I*. Wost, K. Jjadbrooks, J. King, P. Peacock, L. Saunders, L. J. Rattray, and H. Rogers (acting secretary). The Akaroa Club wrote accepting a match for Boxing Day, and it was agreed to send a team. Mr Li. Saunders was elected to fill a vacancy on the committee. The Canterbury Boys' Cricket Association wrote asking for the endorsement of suspensions of players. The request was agreed to. Messrs Wilson, Rogers and Jonas were appointed a sub-committee to purchase material for the Association. It,was decided to postpone senior mutches only on December 22nd and 29th, RLd to play ail second and third grade matches through the holidays*. It was decided to write to Green's Club in reference to providing an Additional wicket. The following have been selected to provide extra practice for selection of a team to play against North Canterbury on January 2nd and' 3rd, and at Wellington at Christmas:—A. Porter, !». Hibberd, D. A meeting of the committee of the -Worth. Canterbury Cricket Association was held yesterday at Raujjiora, -Mr H. Bennett presiding. It was decided to play the Amuri Association at Ainberley on December 21st and 22nd, and the city and suburban challenge match at Rangiora on January Ist an<i 2nd. It was agreed to p'lay the junior matches, which were abandoned through rain on December 22nd, and that all senior cup matches set down for that date be postponed. On the suggestion of the hon. secretary (Mr T. Hanna) it was decided to admit. honorary members at a subscription of 5s a year, such honorary member to have the right of entry to any grounds of the Association.

AMURI SUB-ASSOCIATION. The Amuri Sub-Association's competition was continued on Saturday. The Waiau Township won by default from Waiau South. Culverden A played Waiau Bush a£ Waiau, when the latter won by 16 runs, Culverden scoring 71 against 89 put up by the Bush. Rotherham played Culverden B at Culverden, when the former won by 54 runs, the scores being Rotherham 88, Culverden 34. For Rotherham, Moor 22, Martin 19, Davies 15 and Patterson 12, batted beat. For Culverden none of the batsmen succeeded in reaching double figures. Moor 6 wickets for 11 runs and Graham i for 17 divided the bowling honours for Rotherham, while Wall? 6 for 30 and Davison 2 for 3 bowled best for Culverden. The competition is now in an interesting stage, the positions of the teams bein<* > a-s foiiiowa: —Waiau Bush 9 points, Rotherham 8, Waiau Township 7, Culverden B 6, Culverden A 4, and Waiau South 3.
