LONDON, December 3
The election campaign is overshadowed in several areas of Scotland by the local veto polling, which is spread over several weeks. The resxilts up to the present announcement reveal little change. Edinburgh polled yesterday and gatve a substantial majority in all wards in favour of remaining "wet." Intense interest prevails regarding the Glasgow poll, which takes place tomorrow. Hundreds of Prohibitionist sermons have been preached in the churches.
