ST. DAVID'S PRESBYTERIAN . The flp-.vir tliow *Jicld on' Saturday,' -in a maiquee in tke grounds of St. Da via'a Presbyterian Church, Sydenham, in aid. of the fund to provide-seats for tile new schoolroom, vra3" a decided success. There was excellent competition in the various, sections,, and the exhibits provided a beautiful display. The financial success- of. the. effort depended .on .the stalls, these were cf &■; variety , and -tnry .retlmj... A Christmas trtfe was a. p"iime .attraction and was. soon denuded of it 3 T.O/H, .'while similarly good .business was dona by the n'eedlcwo:rs stall, and the liandKerchiei, variety, sweets, produce, flowers, calces and preserves stalls. Tha new ! Sunday schoolroom was converted- into a refreshment stall for the afternoon, and the numerous- lady helpers were kept very busy. -The Rev. .J. 1). Webster opened the show, at 2.30 p.m., and wished it all the success' that the work of the committee and Mr A. L. Gourlav (secretary) deserved. A bright musical programme wa3 provided l>y.
