Italy plans to develop 75 per cent, of her available water power within a year. All sources of water are to be linked up so that when water is scarce in the north in winter the power to be conveyed from Central Italy, and in the summer when the water is scarce in the in the north in winter the power can be obtained from the Alpine streams of the north.
