At the Swedish games Carr (Australia.) won the final heat ot the 200 metrtfl by three metres, in il 9-lOsec. Houben (Germany) was second in -21 8-lOseo, and Dnson (j-in-land) third. Carr got a perfect start, and striding wonderfully, he won comfortably .Finland won the final htat of the tearnxunning 1600 metres relay in 3min 19 3-iiacC Germany was second, Sweden third, and Kowung, MacSUllan, Gale and Carr (Australia) fourth. Vide (Sweden) created a new'world's record for 3000 metres. Bmin 30 2-osec. Hoft (Norway) established a new world's record for the pole jump of 120 centimetres. The meeting finished with Sweden charapionsnip winner, Finland second, and Germany third.
