Tho following notice is being sent to all bowling clubs in New Zealand by the executive of Manawatu Outre:—"Four guineas award ior bowlers' chiuteys. By Che courtesy of a Paimeiston North bcwler, mi award of £1 la ouch is offered ior the first four selected 'chanteys' for the use of the bowling clubs m the Manawatu centre. These may be selected or original, but preference _will b» given to suitable words set to well-known tuneful airs. From four to twelve lines are suggested. The competition b open to bowlers and others."
