■ ♦— — - I A specially summoned meeting of the above lodgTi was held in the Orange Hall. A.D. Bro. E., H. George- presided over*** very large attendance. G.P. Bro. Cameron, G.V.P. Bro. Franois and many visitors attended. * The sick, bards Teported on the progress of sick brothers and their sick,pay was duly passed for payment. It was decided to a'dd Dr. Pullon to the medical list. Bro. IMcCaffery reported on \tha progress of the Card Team in the card v tournament. The visitors' were heartily thanked for their attendance. In replying, they thanked the brothers for their cordial welcome. Tne election of a trustee, vice.Bro. Hopjyy resigned, resulted in Bro. J; Burgess being elected. Bro. J. Childs was fleeted A.D. Bard, and was duly installed by the D.P , Bro. C. Tonkin. As it - was intended to conclude with a social evening, the business waa smartly disposed of.:' The lodge adjourned and commenced a very pleasant eveninsr. ' The usual • toasts were honoured. G.P. Bro. Cameron was cailled' upon to pre£ sent Bro. Hoppy (who is-leaning- for Auckland) with a\handsome > travelling rug and a regalia case, "for valuable services rendered." ' Bro. Hoppy thanked all present for the kind remarks and the handsome present.
