A fresti proof of the brutal treatment which the inhabitants of AlsaceLorraine met with at the hands of the German authorities before the return of the Provinces to France was afforded recently. •The military authorities found in German prisons—notably at Bochum —20 Alsatians who were sent to prison during the war, and were not set free after the armistice.-
