Edmund Vague, a man aged 75 years, dropped dead whi.e working in his carden at 183 Fitzgerald street, St. Albans yesterday afternoon. An inquest concerning the cause of death will probably be held. At the Arbitration Court in Auckland there was a Sherlock Holmes touch in the observation and deduction drawn by lus Honour Mr Justice Frazer in regard to a typewritten letter states the "Star." The document was a miner s claim addressed to an insur ance company. Despite lengthy questioning, counsel was unable to tain from the plaintiff where the document was compiled and signed His £" no f ur \ ve s,> d F ew " attention to .that the letter had never i an< * therefore, presumably, been typed m the office of the insurance company that Teoeived it.
