TRAMWAY EXTENSIONS.

TO TEX *DITOR 0? "THS WttM." Sir, —When laying out a plan for track extensions, our Jraraway Board should take into consideration improvements on existing lines. At present a double track is badly required on Boaley avenue to relieve traffic from St. Albans north-east district, also to do away with the existing points and runouts at Colombo street bridge, and BeaJey avenue corner, The presentexisting points ave a danger to traffic, at the lutter point especially. A track on both sides of Bealey avenue would do awnv with points. Another plan would l ije to lay a. track via A|anchester street to carry St. Albaus park cars, and reduce by half the number of cars travelling via Colombo street. 1 have noticed mat lti'eearton are constantly agitating for tramway improvements' We require a live member to represent our district on the Board, to look out for St. Albans interests. — Yours, etc., ST. ALI3ANSITE.
