Prudence Jeilicoe consented to bo photographed at the show. The film is 1500 ft in length and should prove of ereat interest to those in Great Britain ■■ while it will serve as a wonderful advertising medium for the Dominion, and the Auckland province in particular. A record of the war service of members of the staff of the Colonial Sugar Refming Company has been published in a neat leather-bound volume It contains short biographical the 231 men who enlisted. ,\N nen the war broke out there were 429 officers 0? the staff of the company. Of these 16/ were over military age, and of the remainder—very many of whom were mar-ried-IoT enfeted, as wefl as three of the older men. Subsequent to August, 1914, 37 iuniors enlisted, eight were rejected, «,« Hied and 18 were under military ZltSZw ended. Of ary staff eight were accepted for service at the front.
