A meeting of the Sea Scout# Committee was held on Tuesday evening, Mr W. 0. Miller presiding over a good attendant*. Apologias for abeenoe vrere received from the Revs. A. J..Petri# and T. M. Curnow. Mr 11. A. "Waters, who is taking change of the Senior Soouts, was heartily welcomed. In reply, Mr Waters mentioned that he was one of the first to join the Scouts when the movement first started in New Zealand, and aaii it was a great pleasure to him to be ablo to help. The secretary reported that the. Soouts had been granted, the use of the old N. Battery Orderly Room. It was left to Mr W. G. Carson and tho secretary to arrange for the necessary alterations. A letter from Mr H. Frogfpatt, District Secretary, thanking Lyttelton helpers on Scout Day was read and received. It was decided to alter the date of the forthcoming bazaar to December 7th as the schools would a liolidny on that day. The offer of Mr Waters to receive goods for the bazaar at his shop-, Oxford street, was accepted. A vote of thanks was passed to Mr A. McDonald for receiving and packing cakes for Scout Day.
