WOOLSTON SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
The monthly meeting of the Woolston School Committee was held on Tuesday. Present: Messrs Bowse (chairman), 'Gilbert, Cox, Jones, Deane, Mesdames Hill and Robinsonl. The secretary -was to thank the City Council for grading the path at * the school gates in Hopkins street. The matter of granting' Scout Day as ft sohooJ ■holiday was left to the headmaster. The names submitted by the Board to fill vacancies on the teaching staff wpTe approved, viz., Vim» Picken and Mr Robertson. Mrs Robinson, Meesrs Rowse, Cox, and Deane, were appointed a visiting committee. The matter of the annual picnio was left in the hands of the chairman, secretary and headmaster.
