RUSSIAN ROYALTIES WED.

Seven royal personages, all Russian exiles, crowded the St. Pancras registry office to assist in the civil marriage of Princess Nina to Prince Chavachavadze. The bridegroom was un» conventionally attired in a lounge suit. The bride wore a pink frock, white hat and shoes. An official describes it as the most silent ceremony he ever saw. It was an atmosphere of the old Russian regime. The bride, who is twenty years old, is a sister of Princess Xenia, who married a wealthy American, William Leeds. The religious ceremony is to be performed at the Russian Church and will follow later. Some British Royalties sent presents of jewels, but the bulk of the gifts were of the useful variety. Their Majesties sent a dinner service, Princess Mary and Viscount Lascelles gave a tea service, and others gave blankets, eiderdowns, and tableware.
