The "Daily Mail" says the Rajah of Pudukota has declared his intention or remaining in Europe, and "will hand the reins of government over to his brother Dorai. The Rajah has just returned to London from Cannes, where he has a villa, and is spending much time in London and on the racecourses, being keenly interested, in the Turf., TPudukotn, is a tributary State of India in the Madras presidency. Ihe area is about 1178 square miles, and the population about half a million. Tlie Rajah. who married an Australian giri> recently went to Europe, and despite the appeal of his subjects, he refused to return to the throne .3 .
