In the Supreme Court to-day Sydney Herbert Grell, who, with his brother Henry Grell, was convicted on Tuesday on charges concerning an attempt to break and enter premises, was charged with breaking and entering the shop erf Richard Houldawojth, on Lambton quay. Hia Honour said he doubted wlietner, m ■view of the lapse of time between the entering of the shop and the arrest of Grell, ana the somewhat slender evidence connecting Grell with the actual entering, the jury would be justified in finding the prisoner guilty on the first counts. A verdict of not guilty was returned.
