ARMY RIFLE MEETING.

SOUTHERN COMMAND. The first annual Army Rifle Meeting for 'he South Island sines the new southern ,-ommand was established, was opened at tha rtedcliffs range on Saturday. The weather ■■ad fine and the wind light. Visibility was ~ood until late in the afternoon. Col. F. B. Creswell was chief range officer, T ,t. R. J. D. Davis was secretary, and Capt. H. M.
