THE RUSSIAN FAMINE.
RELIEF MEASURES IN SARATOV ACHRISTCHURCH KITCHEN. In "Tho Press" of Friday we renewed our request for assistance for the child sufferers in the famine-stricken regions of Russia. Our Chrotmas appeal yielded over £BOO, and Lord Weardale's committee spent this money in establishing a Christchureh kitchen in Saratov. In a cable message to us, Lord Weardale stated that his committee desires contributions for the maintenance of the kitchen, which is feeding 800 children.
