POULTRY CLUB.
ANNUAL SHOW. Tho New Zealand Utility Poultry Club held its annual ehow in the Trades Hall on Saturday. Thero was a largo display of birds, and moat of them were, of high quality. The winning White Leghorn cockerel tho beet typo of utility bird yet seen at the Society'e shows, and the pullet, which won the blue ribbon among the light breeds, was also a lino specimen. A bird with a good finish and an, excellent colour, won tho blue ribbon for cockerels in the heavy breeds, and the winning pullet was a fine Silver Wyandotte. Mr Liggins staged a breeding pen, which containod an excellent typo of Wnite Leghorn. Tho entries totalled ICo. The prizo list is as follows: White Leghol^s—Cookerel (19): R. W.
