CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS COMPETITIONS. TJia champion of champions competition# of the Christchurch Centre were continued on the Sydenham green on Saturday afternoon. Despite the heavy rain which? tell over-night, the green waa in splendid order, although at the start it was inclined to be heavy, but aa the afternoon wora on it improved considerably, consequently play of a high standard. Mr G. H. Blackwejl, of the Beclienham Club, was in charge of the green, and discharged his duties to the entire eatisil'action of the competitors. A week past last Saturday tho links Muxpetition reached the semi-final stages, but, owing t« a number of the players in the pairs competition been engaged in the rink games, the pairs were not so far advanced. Although the green was very heavy to begin with, it improved as the afternoon wore on, and quite an enjoyable time was spent. The president of the Centra ((Mr E. Before the match started, Mr H. president of the Justices' Association, welcomed the representatives of the' Lbw, and said that thia the third annual match, the Law having been ths victors in the first match, and the Justices in the second.
