———* 1 . (press association telegram.) PALMERSTON NORTH, March 10. The Poultry Association' Conference has conoluded. It was decided' that the next conference should be held at Nelson. The executive waa authorised to elect a market commission, and it was decided to excJuJo from affiliation new societies unless such bodies had a, respective membership <bf at least twenty suppliers, The principle of : levying on eggs was affirmed, and it was decided to charge sixpence a hundred dozen. The subject, of pooling eggs was referred $o the executive to bring down a. report for the next conference. • The election of officers resulted aB follows: Patroness Lady Jellicoe; president, Mr J. Jarvis {Pafmeißton North); vice-presidents, Messrs J. Liggms (Wellington),, and J. T., ilarriß (Otago); secretary-treasurer, Sir J.'B. Merrett (Ckristchurch); executive, Messra Robinson (Nelson), Mumby (Wellington), Green (Chrißtchurch), Scott (Auckland), Holmes (Auckland); auditor, Mr Doddington (Wairaiapa).
