OPERA HOUSE.
Another large attendance witnessed the current programme at the. Opera House. The roeramme is an all vaudeville one, which contains many turns quit<v new to Christchurch. The wor'.d's champion jumper, James Teddy, astounded and delighted all with the easy manner in which he surmounted various obstacles, and the offerings of the other performers also went down well. These were Burton and Dyer, comedians., St. "Leon's dogs, posing ennine artists; Gilbert© the juggler; tne Honolulu Four, Hawaiian entertaineis; Madamcdselle Nadje, the modern Venus; Nell Crane, andi Alf. J. Lawrence, comedy specialists; Kennedy Bros., dancers; and Arthur Tozart and Hartley and Wright, sketch artists.
