Advices from Berlin state that jjoldt and Dittmer, two U-boat oflfcers Convicted by the Leipzig Court, and sentenced to terms of imprisonment, escaped to Sweden from Swinemunde. In tho House of Commons, questioned regarding the escape, tho AttofneyGeneral, Sir Gordon Hewart, stated that the Government had strongly protested to Germany, which had given assurances that ejvery step possible would be taken to secure the re-arrest of the men, but so far no information had been received that they had been re-arrested.
