Colonel' John Maclnnes, direct from the groat Social Congress recently held in London, where delegates gathered from all' over the world to discuss problems of social work in connexion' with the''underworld of the different countries which they represented, will speak in Gliristohurcli to-morrow. pie Colonel, in company with fcur gtlier officers, represented New Zealand at the Congress. The delegates were received by the Lord Mayor of London at the Mansion House, while her Majesty Queen Mary opened a Children's Homo in London, at which' the delegates attendlß .Colonel Maclnnes, in company with the other Now Zealand delegates, visited France, and 'held a memorial service at Paeschendaele, and at the same time laid a wreath of flowers on the grave of an unknown New Zealand "soldier- The Colonel will give a thriJling'lecture on his visit to Posschendaele and- the great work proposed at the recent) Social Congress at 3 p.m. to-mor-row in the Citadel, Victoria square. -AH those interested in social reforming are invited to be present.
