Very special care is taken in selecting the choicest fruits for "St. George" Jam, and only the purest cane sugar is used. But it is in the way these are BLENDED that the chief difference is noticed. The "St. George" process retains all the natural flavour of the fruits—ALL, not part—and that is why it has that delightfully "fruity" flavour.. It makes a big difference in results. It is K interest to specify "St George." Have you tried this "St. George " Recipe ? ST. GEOBGE TAUT. Mix ilb. Cornflour frith lib. Flour, add 1 teaspoonful Baking Powder, 1 tablespoon Sugar, then rub in 3 ozs. Butter. Beat up 1 Egg with a little Milk, and mix with dry ingredients. Knead into light dough, shape into round and lit on to greased plate. Bake until golden colour, then 411 with St. George Jam or Marmalade.
