There is a movement on foot to erect .1 monument in front of Parliament House in Melbourne to express French admiration of the Australians' work is the War, ana" to commemorate her soldiers who fell on French soil. It is proposed that the monument shall take the form of a colossal marble globe, surrounded by playing fountains.
