AN INDIGNANT BOAS?.

At to-day's meeting of the Wellington Education Board, indignation was expressed at the recent critioism by Mr John CUughley, Director of Education, concerning the Board's method of appointment of teachers. A resolution 'was passed regretting the tone used by the Director in the Press, and in his letter to the Board, and expressing the opinion that it was highly improper that the Director 'should describe n8 "farcical" the eystem adopted by the Board. The Director was asked to meet > the Board in conference to discuss the I position.
