CASUALTIES.
The inquest concerning tho death of Francis Eyles, tho infant wlho diedon the wav "to Christchurch from Kaikoura on Tuesday, was continued Jesterduv before .the Coroner, Mr S. E. McCarthy. Medical evidence was given by Dr. A. B. Pearson, of the ChristehuTch Hospital, made a postmortem examination, that the child had died from and tho inquest was adjourned fiino die, to allow of the police making enquiries at Conway Flat, the home of tho motfher of tho cnild. George Dickenson was seriously injured yesterday in e collision on the Eiccarton road between a motor-cycle and side-car, which he -n-aa driving, and a motor van.
