SLEEPY SICKNESS IN LONDON (By Cable—Press Association—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cab!* A«*ooiationJ (Received February Ist, 1.10 a.m.) LONDON, January 30. A. sleepy sickness is puzzling the doctors, and shows signs of spreading in London. Fifty-five cases were recently reported. It comes on in the form of a headache, followed by delirium, and in most cases is fatal. * Those_ recovering wear a masklike expression. Two hundred and thiee cases were reported in Sweden. It is not connected with the African disease, but is presumably associated with the hiccoughing influenza, and is mildly infectious. A microbe is supposed to enter the nos® and reach the brain.
