Tho memorial oonsists of a marble arch, surmounted by a bronze equestrian statue.

The balance of the large sum raised for the memorial will be used for medical relief in tho two provinces. A great gathering listened to the Duke of Connaughrs glowing tribute to the late King-Emperor.
