AVON ROWING CLUB. The half-yearly meeting, of the Avon Rowing Club was held last night. Mr R. E. Nightingale, vice-president, occupied the chair. A motion of sympathy with the relatives j of iho late Mr J. B. Wilson, who was a j member of the club, waa passed. E. Clothier It was stated that the olub had won the Colin Cook memorial cup for another year and was in the lead for the D.CVL• cup. t Mr H. Berry's motiins that subscriptions be payable on or before November 30tli, and that no new member be entitled to use the plant until his subscription ia paid, were ■ both carried unanimously. A notice of motion that the clubs colours be changed was withdrawn. . \ Mr W. E. Clothier waa elected a vice- > president for the xemainder of the season.The half-yearly balance-sheet showed receipts £894 7b 3d and expenditure £J3S lis lOd, leaving a debit balance of Tt waa estimated that by the end of the yeaT the debit balance would be about £6O, though there was about £l5O due in outstanding subscription's. It was resolved to hold the club picwo at Pleasant Point on Maroh 6th.-
