Tho first part ct the programme was a concert, the items bemg: Pianoforte solo and song by Mr Rankin, vocal duets by Miss and Mr Is*. Richards, step-dances by Mrs Coker (At>hburton), songs by Miss P. Brown and Mr (Joker. All the items , were very much appreciated. The next part of tho programme was a small auction salo by Mr l l '. Lloyd (Ashburton), wziich realised £25. Then fohowed the drawing of art union tickets, the following obtaining prizes: Mr A. Campbell, .Miss j V. Kingsbury, Mr \V. Straeiian (ii), Mr J. Baker, Mr J. A. Stevens, Mr D. I Winskiil, 3liss S. Harrison, Miss Daisy • Harrison. The doll-guessing c-ompeti-I tions wore won by Master Harold CurI rev and Mr Edridge. Master Cyril i Harrison won the iced cake. Mr Rankin played the music for the dtneing, which concluded a most enjoyable evening, much praise being due to the untiring efforts of the secretary, Mr Linley Harrison. J
