COMMERCIAL ZEPPELINS,

LONDON, October 8. The first of two commercial Zeppelins will be ready for flight across the Atlantic early in the now year. They are described as air liners, capable of conying 500 persons. Tho initial fares arc expected-to range from £100 to £150, but later are expected to bo lowered to £60. Tho Zeppelin Company expresses tho opinion that a big air liner, with reasonablo patronage, should not r'emnnd a fare miich in excess of the first-clnsß steamship rate. Futhermore, that tho flight from London to NewYork should average forty-eight hours. OVER MONT BLANC. PARIS, October 8. The Swiss aviator, Pillichay, crossed the shoulder of Mont Blanc at a height of 13,000 ft., in a 250 hip. biplane, with two passengers. A LTJCKY ESCAPE. ST. JOHN (Nova Scotia), Oct. 8. Two Canadians who started off for * flight from Halifax to Vancouver, crashed shortly afterwards. The machine was wrecked, but the fliers were uninjured.
