IMPERIAL CONFERENCE.
— • ' I ATTITUDE OF CANADA. ! (By Cable—Press Association—Copyright.) | (Australian and N.Z. Oabio Acsoci&tion.) OTTAWA, September 20. Nothing definite is known as to who- 1 ther the Imperial Conference will bo held next year. The Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. A. Mcighen) has made no statement. It is pointed out that Sir Robert Borden, before he resigned, indicated in a public address that he thought tho time inopportune to hold the conference, because there were numerous other matters of Dominion interest demanding attention. It is generally known that Sir Robert Borden's Cabinet concurred in this attitude. The majority of the present Ministers were members of the Borden Ministry. Therefore, it is considered that Mr Meighen and his Ministers do not favour tho holding of the conference till 1922.
