A special session of tho Indian National Congress, convened for the purpose of considering a programme of non-co-operation with tho Government as a protest against tho Turkish peace terms, met at Calcutta under tho presidency of Lnla Laj pat Rai. Five thousand delegates were present. The president's address states that tho Hindis would give tho Mohammedans unhesitating moral and constitutional support'in their agitation to get the terms of the treaty revised. On the question of "non-co-operation the president did not give a lead, but left tho question to he decided at a discussion in open congress. He concluded witih a statement that he hoped tho country would loyally accept whatever decisions were adopted *by the Congress.
